Our Mission
The Mountain View-Los Altos High School Foundation invests in a learning environment that empowers all students to thrive and succeed.

Class Size Reduction
Reduces class sizes for freshman English and math to allow for more teacher attention to the individualized needs of the student
Tutorial Center
Offers free one-on-one academic assistance to students desiring occasional or year-long extra help in subjects including math, English, science, foreign language, history, and electives
Chromebooks
Provides all students access to technology with the option to checkout a Chromebook
Extended Library
Hours
Gives students a place to study, research and collaborate after school
Student Wellness
Funds programs to promote practices and life skills so students can thrive during their high school years
College & Career Center
Provides resources and counseling to students and their parents regarding summer programs, gap year, job and career options, college search, admissions, financial aid and scholarships
Naviance Family
Connection
Access to the Naviance Family Connection for students, parents and counselors. Provides online information and tools for aptitude assessment and researching/applying to colleges.
Expanded AVID Program
Expands AVID
(Advancement Via Individual Determination), a college readiness program for underrepresented students
